Our member Ann McClenaghan sadly died in February. Ann had been a long standing member of the CGSNI ensemble and had performed with us at the Ards Guitar Festival on a number of occasions. As a tribute to Ann, members of the CGSNI Ensemble will perform a fund-raising concert at Malone Presbyterian Church (452 Lisburn Road, Belfast Bt9 8GT) at 8pm on Friday 9th June. We will be joined by Gerry (who was Ann’s first teacher) and Edwin. Brian Keenan will also play solos. The programme is pasted below.
There will be a collection for Tear Fund, a charity who Ann supported and for whom she worked in North Africa.
We hope some members will be free to support this event and represent the Society.
